"Life", Sophia Huang

Life begins
as a single speck of dust
when two worlds collide and collude
put together for generational purpose
offspring raised, cultivated, moulded to
maturity, then their turn
to drift in search
of another

half
seeking direction
to complete full circle
bearing fruit, fulfilling the mandate
extending generational blessings, curses
until worlds conflicted, crumble
and to dust we shall return
life begins, again.

/ Sophia Huang is a children's author, copy editor and mother of three. She is an avid upcycler and loves to dabble in all sorts of creative pursuits.
